If you are reading this blog post from outside of the Lytham Hall Park, please spare one moment to leave the pupils a quick comment telling them who and where you are. Yesterday, Paris came in to say goodbye to 1 Park. We tried to get her to do lots of tricks but all she wanted was belly tickles from all of the children!
I would like to say a huge congratulations to my whole class for being stars this year and an extra well done to our talent show winners and our Teacher’s Choice Award winner!
This weekend, Paris has been very busy selecting the winner of the portrait drawing competition. She was so impressed by each and every one of them but these two are her favourites!
On Friday I was very impressed to see how much talent we have got in our class. We had magicians, singers, dancers and gymnasts. Well done for being so brave everyone!
This week we have been learning all about plants. We have been plant investigators today and we have been trying to find the shortest and longest leaves.
Year 2 have been to visit us today to share their information booklets all about the Caribbean. Thank you Year 2!
Wow, what an impressive performance yesterday 1 Park. I was so proud of each and every one of you. You worked so hard and all of your hard work paid off! You are such a talented class!
Today we had Kylie come to visit us from the PDSA. She taught us all about caring for animals and told us about all of the hard work that the PDSA does for animals. Thank you for all of your kind donations.
As part of our healthy eating week, we learnt all about the different types of food which we should eat. We also discussed how we can stay healthy in other ways such as exercising, drinking lots of water, getting enough sleep and not smoking.
Last week, we had our very own class election. Lots of children stood up and told the rest of the class why they should vote for them to be the class teacher for the day. The votes were counted and our class teacher was elected! She did such a fantastic job, well done!
